Roads Are Open, but….

On the Sequoia National Forest, Western Divide Ranger District, two roads have been opened by Tulare County. The Western Divide Highway (107) and Parker Pass (M50) are now open. Although this isn’t any of the roads near trailheads into the Golden Trout Wilderness for the Sequoia side, it does come to show that snow is melting rather quickly. Access to the wilderness may come early or right on time, wich is Memorial Day weekend, if the snow continues to melt and there are no trees down on The North Road (21S50) or the Lloyd Meadow Road (22S82).
