Sequoia National Forest Issues Stricter Fire Restrictions

If you are planning a trip on the Sequoia National Forest side of the wilderness, then you may want to know this before heading out. Fire restrictions went into effect a couple of months back. Now the Forest, due to further warming and drier conditions, has further restricted fire use in all areas of the National Forest and National Monument.

Camp stoves are the only “fire” allowed to be used at the following locations. No camp fires period! Here is a link to a list of sites where you can use a camp stove.
