More roads are now open on the Sequoia National Forest. These include the Sherman Pass Road, which gives access to the Blackrock Trailhead and Kennedy Meadows, and road 20S67 to Forks of the Kern trailhead. Users can now access the trails within these portions of the Golden Trout Wilderness. Typical trips for the Blackrock Trailhead are Casa Vieja Meadow and Jordan Hot Springs. Forks of the Kern trail is a common entry point for fishing trips along the Kern River and up to Kern Flat. Be safe and enjoy!
