Wanting to do some stream fishing for Little Kern Golden Trout this holiday weekend? Thanks to a local fly fisherman Chuck Stokke (Sequoia Fishing Company, Springville), you won’t have to go far. In fact, a drive to the trailhead of Clicks Creek and about a mile or so walk could yield results.

Above you see a photo of Chuck holding a Little Kern Golden Trout along Clicks Creek on the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness. He also noted the stream still had flowing water. This is good information for those planning a fishing trip down the Clicks Creek trail. Thanks Chuck!

If you are interested in fishing on the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness, you can contact Chuck via his website HERE. He would be happy to discuss places to fish, bait to use, and even help supply your fishing needs with his local shop in Springville.
