A delayed post, but better than never right? Here is the latest fishing report (08/04/2014) along the Little Kern River on the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness. Local business and fly fisherman Chuck Stokke shares some photos from his trip to the Little Kern River. He also lets people know what flies he was using to catch them. Here is what he has to say about it.Thanks once again for the information Chuck!

I went to the Little Kern River on a pack trip with Steve Day from the Golden Trout Pack Station on Saturday . We caught plenty of fat healthy kern goldens. The fish were very aggressive on dry flies especially on elk hair caddis patterns.

Check out Chuck’s store, Sequoia Fishing Company, in Springville to help support his local business. If you have any fishing stories, please feel free to share. I am sure others would like to know where the fish are, especially in these drought conditions.
