Updated the history section of the site. There are two new history accounts regarding the Golden Trout Wilderness. The first is an old document scanned by Google regarding Golden Trout fisheries surveys in the Southern Sierra Nevada mountains. This document contains old photographs from over 100 years ago. Check out the Kern and Little Kern Lakes debris damage too!
The second document is a personal account from a gentlemen who was in Big Whitney Meadow during the largest snow fall on record for the Sierra Nevada mountains and the world. The year was 1969 and Mr. Powell witnessed 12 feet of snow fall within 48 hours! Enjoy the short read!
