These recent series of storms have brought in a good amount of snow. On the Sequoia National Forest side there is about 2.5 feet of snow at 7,000 feet. As the storm continues on for a bit more, this effectively closes down the roads providing access to the Golden Trout Wilderness. If you are curious as to what roads, then check out the Access page. You’ll find what road numbers are closed and on which side of the Golden Trout Wilderness (i.e. Inyo NF).
