It is nice to see the potential for snow fall in a weather report. The National Weather Service based in Hanford, CA, is currently predicting several days of possible snow falling into the Sierra Nevada mountains. The weather chart above is for the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness at 7,000 feet.
Snow surveys are beginning and will likely conclude sometime next week. Hopefully this storm will give the Sierra Nevada mountains a good boost. We just need a few more of these and some cooler temps to keep the snow around longer. It would be nice to see more water in the creeks and lakes, yes? Time will tell.
