Trail Report: 32E11, 32E08, and 32E02 on SQF

View of the High Country

A new trail report is available to read for the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness. A total of 14 plus miles was hike on May 27, 2015. Water and trail conditions were noted and sent in. Here is a quick summary, but it is recommended to check out the link to the PDF for further details and photos.

Water Levels

  • Alpine Creek – Flowing
  • Little Kern River – Flowing
  • Soda Spring Creek – Flowing
  • Lion Meadows – Flowing
  • Sheep Creek – Flowing
  • Noname Creek – Flowing
  • Willow Creek – Flowing
  • Table Meadow Creek – Stagnant
  • Sagebrush Gulch – Dry

Trail Conditions

  • Overall trails are in good shape
  • Two trails that go east and west are faded in areas and need brush and/or tread work in spots
  • Few down trees per trail
