Wildfire: Jacobsen Fire About 1,000 acres

The Jacobson Fire was discovered around 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 20, within the Golden Trout Wilderness in the Sequoia National Forest. This fire is located approximately three miles northeast of the community of Sequoia Crest which is near Camp Nelson. The fire has now grown to an estimated 950 acres. Central Coast Inter-Agency Management Team has taken over the fire to assist with fire suppression efforts.
