Water Sources – SQF

The latest report on stream flow and lakes is in for the Sequoia National Forest side of the Golden Trout Wilderness. It isn’t looking good out there. Here is what was discovered.

Soda Spring Creek – Not flowing, standing water
Tamarack Creek – Barely any flow as of late August
Deep Creek – Not flowing, dry
Clicks Creek – Barely flowing
Alpine Creek near Parole Cabin – Slowly flowing
Fish Creek – Not flowing, standing water
Little Kern River – Barely flowing

Lion Meadow area – Not flowing, standing water
Grey Meadow – No water
Trout Meadow – No Water

Maggie Lakes – Has water, but water level is low

If you plan on going out in the Golden Trout Wilderness, please plan accordingly with the information above. If you have any updates, please share to benefit others.
